G is for Growth in Otago
Winter might be just around the corner, but there’s much to feel warm and fuzzy about here in Otago.
In a bit of a coup, Forsyth Barr Stadium scored its biggest international attraction yet, welcoming tens of thousands of Ed Sheeran fans through its doors for Easter. Central Otago hosted flocks of Warbirds enthusiasts, and the burgeoning street art scene in Dunedin has been making headlines here and abroad.
Add to that, a heady list of developments – the hospital rebuild, the proposed harbour development including a city-to-harbour bridge, the Leith Cycleway Bridge project and the Peninsula Connection – and that steady buzz of growth really starts to hum.
It’s an exciting time for the city and the region. We’ve always known what a great place we live in. Now with current growth, we’re really looking forward to seeing an even greater wealth of visitors and families choosing Dunedin and Otago as their new home.
