My philosophy when it comes to selling real estate is simple: Be honest and try your best to help the vendor achieve their objective.

I’ve been involved in real estate for over 30 years, including the last 25 as one of the founding directors of Edinburgh Realty.

My focus is on the lifestyle and rural market. Otago is one region, where you can have it all: work in the middle of the city by day and, within 15 minutes’ drive, be swinging through the gateway of your own “block”.

There’s not a lot of tolerance for long commutes in these parts. No one actually likes sitting in mind-numbing traffic, when they could be home relaxing or doing fun stuff.

I speak from experience, being a lifestyle block owner myself. After helping hundreds of clients buy or sell over the years, I’ve worked out what’s what around Otago – the wee idiosyncrasies of different areas and what to be aware of when living rural.

Knowledge isn’t much fun, if you don’t get to share it.
